Concealed Carry I - Getting Started

Cost is $100

 

MFS Concealed Carry I is the first of a multi-class series and should not be missed. This 4-hour class covers what a person carrying a concealed weapon should know legally, tactically, and ethically.  The material covered in this class is critical for every gun owner in Massachusetts.

   - Effects of Stress
   - Weapon & Gear Choices
   - Concealment Options
   - The Draw from Multiple Positions
   - Tactics & Maintaining the Tactical Advantage over your opponent
   - Clothing and Body Mechanics that will maintain concealment of your firearm
   - Concealed Carry Life Style

 

Concealed Carry II - Draw - Move - Fire - The Foundation

Cost is $175

   

MFS Concealed Carry II is a 4 hour class that picks up where Concealed Carry I leaves off.  We move from covering tactics and legalities to learning how to draw, move, and fire your weapon.  Two hours will be spent in a classroom environment dry firing and practicing what will be done on the range with dummy rounds.  Two hours will be spent on the range firing your weapon in a self defense fashion (not target shooting). 

     

The class will cover:

   

   - Combat grip, stance & trigger control 
   - The Draw from multiple positions & concealment
   - Speed reloads
   - Type 1 & 2 malfunctions and their clearing procedures
   - Movement, verbal commands & shooting at the same time

   

    

Please bring the following gear to class:

    

   - Your LTC 
   - Pistol or revolver of your choice
   - Concealment Holster
   - Extra magazine, speed loader or reloading device
   - Magazine or speed loader holder (you can use your pocket if that’s how you plan to carry)
   - Concealment garment
   - 150 rounds of ammunition

Concealed Carry III - Positional Shooting

Cost is $ 175

     

Concealed Carry III is a 4-hour class that picks up where Concealed Carry II leaves off.  In this class, all the shooting is off your feet.  Moving beyond basic draw, shoot, and move techniques, you will be challenged with shooting from various positions such as from your knees, on your back, from a chair, and others.   

    

The class includes two hours of classroom drill practice and two hours of intense live fire work in the range.

   

Additional topics covered:

    

- Combat grip, stance & trigger control 

 

- The Draw from multiple positions & concealment  

 

- Speed reloads

 

- Type 1 & 2 malfunctions and their clearing procedures             

 

- Movement, verbal commands & shooting at the same time 

Concealed Carry IV - Shooting with No Sights

Cost is $175

  

Concealed Carry IV is a 4-hour class that picks up where Concealed Carry III left off.   In this class we move from sighted fire to point/instinctual shooting.  Most of this class will be spent on the range firing your weapon in a self defense fashion (not target shooting). 

  

  

The class will revisit skills from CC2 & CC3:

    

 -Combat grip, stance & trigger control

 -The Draw from multiple positions & concealment

 -Speed reloads

 -Type 1 & 2 malfunctions and their clearing procedures

 -Movement, verbal commands & shooting at the same time

 -Tactical Reloads

 -Use of Available Cover

 -Positional Shooting

  

New Topics Covered:

   

-Instinctive Point shooting (sights will be covered with electrical tape)

-Shooting from Positions 2 & 3 during the 4 phase draw process

-Shooting from Position 4 during the draw process without sights

-Target Saturation Drills

-Combination Point & Sighted Fire drills

-Strong hand only / Weak hand only point shooting

Concealed Carry V - Shooting, Reloading - One Hand Only

Cost is $175

  

Concealed Carry V is a 4-hour class that picks up where Concealed Carry IV left off.   In this class we move from point/instinctual shooting with two hands to one handed shooting and firearms manipulation.  Half the class will be spent in the class room learning the skills of reloading and malfunction clearing using only one hand.  The other half will be spent on the range firing your weapon in a self defense fashion (not target shooting). 

  

  

The focus of this class is to revisit skills from CC2, CC3, and CC4 using one-handed grips only, using both the strong & weak hand. The following topics will be covered:

    

-Combat grip, stance & trigger control

-The Draw from multiple positions & concealment Reloads

-Type 1 & 2 malfunctions and their clearing procedures

-Movement, verbal commands & shooting at the same time

-Positional Shooting

-Combination Point & Sighted Fire drills

-Strong hand only / Weak hand only point shooting

Concealed Carry VI - Low Light Shooting

Cost is $175

  

Concealed Carry VI is a 4 hour class that introduces low light & flashlight technique into the Concealed Carry environment.  Half the class will be spent in the class room learning the skills needed to use a flashlight and firearm at the same time as well as reloading and malfunction clearing.  The other half will be spent on the range firing your weapon in a self defense, low light fashion not target shooting. 

 

 

This is not a “learn to shoot” class.  CC6 will draw from skills learned in CC2, CC3, CC4 & CC5 as well as introducing the following new topics:

    

-Understanding basic principals of low light tactics

-Multiple flashlight techniques

-Reloads in low light

-Malfunctions and their clearing procedures in low light

-Illumination, movement, verbal commands & shooting at the same time

-Combination Point & Sighted Fire drills 

MFS Armed Defense in the Home

Cost is $100   

 

MFS Armed Defense in the Home is a 4-hour class that examines the tactics and legalities of using force for the protection of life inside a dwelling.     
          
The class will cover tactics & techniques needed to defend yourself and others in the difficult 360 degree battle field of the indoor environment of your home. 
             
Topics include are:

-What does the law allow
-Choosing the right home defense weapon for your needs 
-Bullet penetration & The Truth about Stopping Power
-Developing a Home Defense Plan 
-Aftermath of a Shooting and how to deal with Law Enforcement
-The Law of Deadly/Lethal Force
-Self Defense
-Massachusetts Castle Doctrine
-Effects of Stress     
       
The Instructors for these classes are law enforcement officers who bring real world experience to the classroom.

Judgmental Tactics Class

Cost is $150

 

This 4 hour class will give you an understanding of how to use Lethal/Deadly force to defend yourself in a dangerous life or death situation.  Utilizing the latest technology in firearms simulation, students will be placed in real life situations where accuracy and proper judgment are a matter of life and death.

    

These shoot / don’t shoot scenarios will test the student’s skills making decisions dealing with robberies, active shootings, car jackings and more.

      

This class is a must for anyone who has access to a firearm for the protection of life. This course is open to civilian, military, and law enforcement personnel.

     

The class covers a 20-30 minute lecture on the below material prior to scenario training:


- Deadly/Lethal Force Law
- Massachusetts Self Defense Law
- Tactics and how to created an enhanced sense of awareness 

Self Defense Shotgun I

Cost is $175

      

Self Defense Shotgun I is a 4-hour class that covers what a person needs to know to tactically deploy a shotgun for self defense.  2 hours will be spent in a classroom environment dry firing and practicing with dummy rounds. 2 hours will be spent on the range firing your weapon in a self defense fashion.

-The Castle Doctrine & The Effects of Stress on The Human Body

Self Defense Rifle I

Cost is $175

 

Self Defense Rifle I is a 4 hour class that covers the skills required to tactically deploy a rifle for the protection of life. Two-hours will be spent in the classroom dry firing and practicing with dummy rounds, two-hours will be spent on the range engaging in various tactical exercises.

Pepper Spray I

Cost is $80

                                             

Used correctly, pepper spray is a valuable self-defense tool.  The difficulty is knowing how to use it.
       
Pepper Spray I is a 2-hour class covering what a person needs to know legally, tactically and ethically before they carry pepper spray. 
       
Topics include:    
                  
-Mass Law of Self Defense and Your Legal Obligations
-Effects of Pepper Spray
-Different Spray Choices
-The Draw from Multiple Positions
-Strategies Which Allow You to Maintain the Tactical Advantage Over Your Opponent

Responding to the Active Shooter

Cost is $100

  

Whether it be a shooting at the mall, workplace, or other public event “Responding to the Active Shooter” will help you understand the tactics & techniques needed to survive.   
  
This 4 hour class will equip you with the knowledge needed to protect both your family and yourself.

- How to get your family out alive

- Understanding the mindset of the active shooter
- Analysis of past active shooter events
- Tactics for survival including run, hide or fight concepts
- Legalities of using deadly force for the protection of life
- How to deal with and assist law enforcement response
